Winter tips
Winter months at Tamarack are full of holiday cheer and snowy adventures. We're at an elevation of about 8,500 feet, about 1,000 feet higher than the town of Mammoth Lakes, so when it snows in Mammoth you better believe we're getting it heavy in our neck of the woods! In fact, our average annual snowfall is over 400 inches. Go home with stories to tell about what it's like to stay in a snowbound cabin, warmed by a fire and the sweet spices of mulled cider in the evening. Don't forget to pack your snowboots and plenty of warm winter layers.
